Has anyone gotten a better rate than what is posted on the Radisson website? I think a standard room is $119 plus tax.

We have a rate of $89 for a standard in September. I believe it was the Florida getaway rate. I ALWAYS call the 1-800 number for any hotel chain we stay at to confirm what the lowest possible rate is. On several occasions I have gotten non-published deals by calling that were better than the hotels web site.

I got 85/night for November - 119 was for the suite - just felt we didn't need that

HI THERE~ I COPIED THIS FROM MOUSESAVERS & USED THIS INFO TO BOOK A ROOM FOR 11/03/04 THE NIGHT BEFORE OUR 3 DAY CRUISE. WE BOOKED THE RADDISON FOR 85.00

It's pretty easy to find the cheapest rates at Radisson Resort at the Port, if you know a few tricks:

Go to the Radisson web site.
For the city, type Cape Canaveral.
Enter your dates and the number of adults and children, then the "Continue" button.
Under Radisson Resort at the Port, click on "View Rates."
Ignore the first set of rates that pop up. These are usually not the lowest available.
Instead, go all the way to the bottom of that page and click on "view all rates."
You will see a variety of lower rates. Almost all of them are available to anyone!
Ignore the special "cruise parking" packages you may see listed. You aren't required to purchase one of these to get the free parking. Booking any room will do.

HOPE THIS HELPS

We got a rate of $89.00 for our upcoming stay June 25.

I'm sure this isn't the right thread to ask this, but it's a Radisson question. How far is the beach from the hotel? Is it close enough to walk? Does it cost anything for parking at the beach? Where can we go if we want to see the ship come back into port on a Saturday morning? Appreciate any info. Thanks!!!

we got the $89 rate for 11/12 got our 11/13 cruise on the magic. we used no booking code and got free parking for the cruise

The rates have really gone up. Two years ago we paid $99. per nt. for a 2 Kings suite, last year it was $109. a nt. I called last month and it was $129. per nt so I thought I would wait. I checked the other day on the net and it was $159. per nt. Maybe waiting was a bad idea. Hope I'm wrong and the rates do come down again.

BTW, free cruise parking is included with all over night stays no matter which package or room you book.

DARN!! I thought you had to have the "cruise package" to get the free parking!! We got a rate of 119 per night--but it "comes with" 2 free buffet breakfasts and the PARKING!! I might try and call to change it. The first quote I got was for 89--with no cruise parking or breakfast. OY VEY--I wish I had read the boards before booking those rooms!!!

The last 2 years we used different promotions to stay at the Radisson the night before sailing and the parking was just part of the price. Did they change something in the last 6 months?

Thanks!

Hi Tiff, Same old, Same old but at a higher rate.
