Radisson port question

We plan on arriving in Fla. on June 28, the night before our 4 day cruise sails. Whether we fly or not is a question--fares are ridiculous now compared to what we usually pay--more than double. If things don't change we'll leave Friday afternoon and take turns driving down to FLA.
Can I book a regular room for the 5 of us (kids are 5,8,11) now, but possibly change to the park and cruise package later, if fares don't go down?

My sister-in-law had 2 adults and 3 children in a regular room this summer and had no problem - I think she just needed to pay a little extra for a cot. Even with a regular room you get to leave your car there for free. We have done it for the last 2 years. I think the best rate they are offering right now is $79 night.
