Anyone stat at either of these off site locations? Read numerous reviews on Trip Advisor, etc all with positive reviews, getting a trip planned for Oct 2013.

Yup stayed at both...... the Radisson was nice kind of a pain to get to you have make a U turn if coming from downtown Disney. The sleep number beds were nice make sure you ask for a room facing away from I4 to cut down on the noise. The pool was kinda small and not heated when I was there. The hot tub was pretty good but small as well. Sign up for Club Carlson to get some additional perks!
The Holiday inn resort is really nice for the money... loved the pool area and the rooms were clean and comfy and just remodeled. Would not hesitate to stay here again

Awesome! Thanks for the review. Just looking for a reasonable place that makes it easy to get to all the Disney Parks as well as US and IOA. Both seemed affordable and close to it all. Do you have a preference between the two or is there another reasonable/nice place close by worth looking into?

I really preferred the holiday inn for a number of reasons.. the hotel location was better seemed quieter and had more of a resort feel to it. I liked that they had an applebees right at the hotel but you could also use get stuff to cook in the microwave. The pool was much better bigger and more secluded the radissons was out in the open near billboards had a stone wall that faced the road. Both were a great value and I am staying at the radisson my last night my next trip but for a longer trip I would definately go with Holiday inn resort. :)

Ive also heard pretty good things about this place but have never stayed here. ::yes::

Have stayed at HI LBV, would again. FYI there's a required resort fee -$12/day - but it includes a park shuttle.

Great info for me to ponder when booking. I appreciate the input. Just looking for convenience in proximity to all the action, not too over priced, and nothing sketchy or down trodden. I'll take a look at the other place you mentioned as well. It's been about 10 years so I looking forward to this trip!
