HI There,

I was wondering what was the best rate booked from this past year? 2 years ago I was able to book at $89.95 / night...am I dreaming in colour to think I could still get a similar rate? Are there any codes that you may share? The best I can get right now is $119.00 / night which includes breakfast and parking...has anyone booked the cruise special and were you happy?

Thanking you all in advance,
Vivian:wave2:

You don't need to book the cruise special (which is more expensive) to get the parking. You might want to check the internet rate. The cheapest I've seen recently is $99

I have a reservation for Oct. 30th at the Internet Saver Rate of $85.00 ($93.50 with tax). :D

Thanks so much...I guess I will try once again..

I tried calling directly. I spent much of the day calling with their reservations busy, so finally I got Radisson Corp. Reservations. I asked for the cheapest rate. $119 was the best they said they could give me.

I also looked on the web. If I used AAA, it was still $99 without breakfast.

I think the $85 or less is a thing of the past. Even the coupon expires before we leave (tho they might do another).

I had a reservation at the Day's Inn for $83 plus tax and Art's Shuttle. I've been reading that Art doesn't get started until 11:30 or 12 and we wanted to get to the ship early. So, if anyone else has suggestions?????

The Radisson website looks pretty nice. The food looks very appealing too...

Thanks again all...

I once again tried calling..I believe it is the time of year we are going that the price is $119.00, we are looking for a one night stay March 11, 2005. The internet special as well as the cruise special are the same..so why not have breakfast included? I reserved and will look around to see if I get a better deal ....

dotterson..we stayed at this location 2 years ago and we were quite pleased...never had breakfast on location though:)

Thanks again everyone...can't believe I am planning sooo way in advance ;)

I'll have the coupon in my hot fist, but I'm sure they won't honor it in Dec. and after we have the breakfast. (Ok, it's for 2, so we need to pay for our daughter too!)

Since we plan on getting their around 4 or 5, how is the food for dinner? Or, should we take the car and go to the pier? Those restaurants look nice too, but after driving 8 hours...

BTW, glad I'm not the only one obsessed with the cruise!

Sorry I am not much help in the dining area...we ate outside of their premises..I believe we ate at Olive Garden since we don't have one here in Ontario...

I can tell you though that they seemed to have a nice set up for supper as well..many guests were eating there..perhaps another DISER may be able to let you know.

We also will be paying for one additional person..our son:)

Hope you post after your trip to let us know about your trip:D

PS I believe many of the DISER's are avid planners:smooth:

I'm moving on to planning WDW for Spring Break! Already booked the rooms!

I need to figure out how to get that in my signature too! I had them together, but the later one came first, so I don't know what I did!

I imagine you're flying from Canada? Otherise, how long of a trip is it by car? Our limit is 9 hours and then things get really nasty!!!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

My DH thinks I'm crazy since I had the Day's Inn all set, but the Boards said that the shuttle comes at 12ish and that isn't what we would like. (Besides, I heard we park the car at the Radisson, so we might as well skip the middle man and stay there!)

Thank God for the Boards. I also booked REAS.

We cruised on the 4-nt Wonder, and also stayed at the Radisson. We took a 5-minute taxi ride over to Grills - and watched the Magic depart down the waterway. The food was fabulous - although we ate fairly light since we assumed we'd be eating lots on the ship. It was spectacular watching the ships leave - I think there were three going out that night.
