Radisson Cruise package question

Hi All

To those of you who have done the cruise package at the Radisson when did you check in? I know that sounds really dumb but....DH, DD and I are going on the Wonder Feb 13th ...when I checked the web site the cruise package doesn't start till the 13th. I called reservations they said that was right. Can't see that I need a room for that night seeing as we will be sailing away. Reservations stated that there is a 2 night minimum ok I understand that .....night before cruise...night after cruise? Wouldn't that mean check in sat Feb 12 go on cruise the 13th then check back in thurs the 17th?

did you check other rates at the bottom of the radisson web site
sometimes it is cheaper w/o cruise rate, and you still can leave your car there. no need to book the cruise package.

Unfortunately, no rates are available for the period chosen.
Please change your hotel selection or dates.

this is what I get from their web site. I checked other dates and there are plenty of rooms just not for Feb 12th. When I spoke with them it is cheaper to go with the cruise package 119.00 per night other wise 149.00 and up.

I'm confused by your post because we are staying at the Rad and using the cruise package and there is no minimum night stay. We are checking in the night before and checking out the next day. We are, however, sailing on Dec 11 so perhaps into 2005 something is new? We are not staying at the hotel upon our return.

We are also on the Feb. 13th Wonder and I couldn't get reservations for the evening of Feb. 12th either. I've been checking their website regularly, but no luck.

At the moment, we have reservations at the Courtyard by Marriott in Cocoa Beach. It gets good reviews, so I'm not going to worry about it too much. However, I would love to be able to park our car at the Radisson and leave it there while we cruise.

did you call the radisson direct to see if they had any rooms?
sometimes calling works too.

yep called them two times different days just in case I got someone new on the job.....hahahah same answer both days I will call in the morning and get an answer...I will post what I find out....

just spoke with the Radisson again...At least I did find out they are sold out for the night of Feb 12th. The lady I spoke with did confirm you can stay there just one night.

for other ideas and options, I called the Holiday Inn Oceanfront
and they said you can park for free, there is just no shuttle, must
use taxi or paid service to get to the port.

perhaps there is no room available due to valentines day. just thought this might clear up why they might be requiring 2 night stay.other hotels may be filling up early also.HTH
