Hi,

We just got back. We drove all the way through and needed a place to stay for one night so we decided to try the Radisson at Celebration despite the contradictory reviews I've seen lately.

We arranged it through the Mousesavers.com link and got the rate of $79. We received a room in the recently rehabbed part of the hotel and it was very nice. No complaints at all. It was similar to the hotel room we had at the Royal Pacific at Universal.

We didn't use any of the hotel's amenities so we can't comment on the pool, restaurants, etc, though.

HTH,

HTH,

Thank You for the review. We wil be there next week. Did you request the rehabbed building?

I'm glad you had a great time.

No, we didn't request it. But at check in I mentioned that one of my dds has asthma and we really needed to make sure we were in a no smoking room and the manager moved us over to the new rehabbed room. I'll ask my dd what the room number was when she gets back from driving. She just got her permit and it's her first time to drive at night. AGH!!!! Dad had to take her. :rotfl2:

Thank You. Both DD's have asthma. I'll be sure to make them aware of this.
Good Luck w/driving:scared1: . I got a couple of years until it's my turn. DH tried to teach me how to drive after we started dating. If I didn't hire someone to teach me I don't think we we would be married right now.:rolleyes1

:yay:

We stayed at the Radisson Celebration Oct. 16-19. Not a bad room and it came with a refrigerator, nice perk. They charge an $11/day resort fee which is kind of crappy but they did actually try to do some things to justify it like kids activities, introductory scuba lessons in the pool, feeding the ducks, etc. There is a large main pool with a water slide and a waterfall, a smaller pool and a hot tub plus cabana, poolside bar, etc. The main pool is not heated!! only the smaller pool is. I still went swimming but in October the water was pretty cold. The sun warmed you up nicely once you got out, tho. I took pictures and can post them if anyone is interested. We got this room through Priceline for $42/night plus the resort fee, an ok deal. It's right off of I-4, on 192 and minutes from WDW. There is plenty of shopping nearby, a Publix Supermarket, fast food and restaurants galore. For the money we were very pleased.

Here is the hotel:
