Radiator Springs Racer

Not the OP, but curious what would the drops be comparable to? I can handle pirates, will ride splash but HATE the drop. I love dwarves in wdw but yes, I am one of those who finds it intense.

I thought this ride was more like test track? Now I’m starting to wonder. I’m familiar with wdw rides and most DL, not DCA.
It is basically Test Track with better theming. To me it isn't like a roller coaster at all--- it is like driving fast in a car. The main difference between TT and RSR in the end part is that RSR has 2 little hills in quick succession that you drive over, where Test Track does a bit more of a side bank/curve instead. Because of the speed, you will feel a little bit of that stomach sensation as you go over the hills. It isn't really a drop--- but for OP when you say it is due to a medical condition that would cause concern to me. If it is a matter of your health, I would probably err on the side of caution and not ride-- you could watch videos of it on youtube and see what you think but if there is a chance of it significantly affecting you medically, I wouldn't do it.

The hills are pretty similar to hill hopping that they do in the Midwest, if you know what I'm talking about. Having a set of hills, going fast over them creating a stomach drop (there's not much else for them to do in rural areas lol).

My stomach definitely drops while on it, but I can handle it. My mom doesn't like them as much. If you don't like the stomach drop feeling or don't feel comfortable with Pirates, I would probably skip it. Your kiddos, if they're old enough, may be able to do single rider.
