Hi! We are going to DLR in early June. One of our DCA days we want to get FP for RSR at rope drop and then go to Paradise Pier for Screamin, Toy Story, Mickey's Fun wheel of death etc. If my husband goes to get the FP for RSR and meets me and the kids (4,5) in Paradise Pier- is there a strategy to do this quickly? Is there still like a 30 minute wait to get FP at park opening? He wants to be on the left side of the crowd right? Does the line tuck in at some point- or does he just head straight for the machines?

We will likely be at the gates at 7:30 for an 8:00 opening with no MM that day. We have to rent a stroller, so it might be hard (but not impossible) for us to get there much earlier than that. This is the only day we plan to get the stroller so off site rental is not something we are looking to do. We did it when they were littler and it was great- but for this trip, we think just getting one stroller one day will work for us.

Thanks in advance!

Fast passes for RSR are not going as fast and the lines for the fast passes were less than a 5 minute wait.

Hi, we were there for 2 days at the end of March. RSR fastpasses were gone by around 10:30 on those days. We scoped out the area where the FP's are the day before since they are not by the ride so we would know where to go. We got there at rope drop, went left when getting in, after getting in i gave him my ticket and he took off to head to the machines to get in the FP line, took maybe 10 mins (our return time was around 3 already), I met him by the exit and we went to Paradise Pier to do those rides.

Did you get there at rope drop or before? Do you remember where you were in the crowd? My daughter has A&E reservations at 10:30 and then we are eating at Ariel's at 12:40... so I am hoping for a return time either before 10, between 11:30-12 or after 2....

If you get there early (before rope drop), and position yourself to the far left as close to the rope as possible, you should get a return time in the 9am hour. It should only take 10 minutes at the most to get a FP first thing...as long as you are close to the rope...may take a little longer if you are farther back, but it still should not take too much time.

I usually wait till about 15 minutes after opening than casually stroll over and get one. Maybe go on Mater or something first and miss the initial rush. Either way, it's not as big of a deal as it used to be thankfully.

We actually got there a few mins after rope drop. We stayed at the Park Vue Inn so we used the closest entrance to get in. The lines to get through bag check were really backed up but we just kept staying left, once we go through that line it wasn't bad at all.

Hi,

I walked past the RsR fastpasses on Thursday and Friday ( I used single rider). On Thursday the passes ran out at about 1pm.
On Friday the passes were showing a return time of 8pm by 11am so they would be gone shortly afterwards.

We did single rider line for RSR and waited for maybe 30-45 minutes. Soarin was closed when we were there. Most fast passes for RSR are gone by lunch time or before then the wait can be up to 2 hours. RSR to Soarin should be feasible if your husband is a fast walker. Good luck!

We did single rider 2x yesterday at RSR, around noon. the posted wait time for standby was 65 minutes, single rider was posted as 40 minutes. Both times we waited about 20 minutes to ride. I'd go with single rider if your kids are old enough.
