i am having a job getting a rate for the radisson in manchester airport for august, holiday extras haven't finalised a contract with them yet we usually stay at bewleys but there are chidren and two adults this year and bewleys only do rooms for four, any ideas. i quite like the idea of staying in the airport especially for the night before which can be a little boring for the kids

I can't reccomend the Radisson highly enough. Yes, its more expensive than others but thats due to the level of service and convinience being right in the middle of the airport. We've got a family room booked, that's two adjoining rooms, so the kids can sleep in one and my wife and I in the other. Last time these rooms were facing the airport and the kids were entranced watching the planes landing, taking off and moving around the airport.

In the morning it's a doddle wandering down to an (empty!) check in area around 7am, handing over the luggage and then going back to the room for breakfast to be delivered. It takes so much of the stress out of the waiting. In fact, I'm really looking foward to doing it again in aout 19 days time!

Why not give them a call on 01614 905000 and see what they can do for you direct?

We're another big fan of the Radisson, but can say that we expect to pay up to £140 for a family room plus 17 days parking - so beware, NOT cheap!

Recommend their buffet breakfast at c.£10 per adult (kids eat free) though!!!

thats not bad if we can get it about the buffet whats the child age limit, we don't to rush cos flight not till 1.00 but we like the parking and its tradition so i can forget work i.e no contact after leaving :cheer2:

I usually find booking with them direct through the website, if you book early enough is good enough to get you the best rate. I'm sure they guarantee you the best rate through their site so if you see it cheaper elsewhere, even after booking - let them know.

We like the Radisson, the location is superb but we feel the rooms good do with a little renovating now.

cant help with your question...
