Has anyone stayed here? Usually we stay at a Dis property, but I got a huge deal on a Labor Day Get-away.. It looks nice n the website but I would be so glad to hear from anyone who has stayed here.. thanks:rolleyes:

Hello,
No one seems to be answering you (I hate when that happens) so I will offer my opinion, for what it is worth.
My daughter (age 21) stayed at the Raddison a couple of months ago. She loved the resort and it looks really nice in all the pictures she took. I got her the reservation there because Mary at Mousesavers.com highly recommends this resort.
I think the special rates are really good and that it's worth a try! That said, I am not sure you will be quite as happy staying off-site as you are staying on-site. We recently realized that we just don't like being off Disney property. I constantly feel like we have to get going so that we are at Disney! Know what I mean? Maybe you won't feel that way, there's only one way to find out!
Let us know what you decide! Have a great vacation!

Hi

We stayed here and it's a GREAT place! Very clean and well kept. The hotel is also right off the I-4 exit ramp which is very convient as well. There are many good restaurants in the area too! Any questions, just ask :-) Tom

I'll be staying here in October as well so if you get anymore information, pass it along!!

Hi,

Our family of 5 has also booked 6 nights at the Radisson REsort
Parkway in October. I booked after reading the high rating mousesavers gave this hotel. But with three kids I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Caribe Royale and would this be a better choice. The pool at The Radisson looks fantastatic
I would also appreciate any info on both of these hotels.

:)

We stayed at the Radisson Prky in June. We had 5 rooms booked and were very, very happy. This was the first trip in years we had stayed off site, I had originally booked PO-R but MIL decided to join us then SILs and finally an Aunt (they all live in Flordia) anyway since we were the only ones going to WDW I couldn't justify asking them all to pay extra to stay on site.

I used the Radisson because of Mary's recommendations and we had a fabulous time. My children 3-5 had a great time at the pool both of them love to swim and the water slide was a big hit!!! Disney is right down the street I didn't find the driving time to be any different then from Coronado or All stars. We don't use on site transportation so that didn't matter to us. We had an excellent breakfast at the restaurant a nice buffet with lots of choices for everyone.

The rooms were nicely decorated and much more like a Disney deluxe, we payed an extra $5.00 a night to have a fridge in the room. MIL and Aunt who are both world traverlers loved this place everyone had a great time and they were able to get us all in the same building and even a few of the rooms on the same floor. This was really nice as we all had different check in dates. I made my reservation off hotel kingdom which was $5.00 a night less then Mary's deal.

I think you all will be quite happy with this hotel, I'll try to answer any specific questions as best I can.

Hi Allison,

Thanks for your reply. I am also from Ontario, I live in Chatham.
This will be our first trip to Disney so we are very excited. HOw would I book a better rate at hotel kingdom. I would also appreciate any other tips that you might have. Thanks again

Dannette

I'd love to hear more reviews about the Radisson Resort Parkway too since we'll be there in Oct. - I booked through www.orlandotripplanner.com - they just put in new links to a different booking engine with lower rates for the Radisson (you are still booking direct with the RRP but the rates are lower than you would find going to their website).

I'll be there in October too Puffy! What are your dates? Maybe we'll run into each other

Hi again,

Did anyone use the shuttle service that is available at the Radisson Resort Parkway, or did you use your own car. How was the experience with parking being off site. How was the food at the restaurants at the hotel? Looking for all the information I can get before our trip. Thanks

Dannette

We drive our own car even when onsite so there was very little difference there for us, other then paying the $6.00 to park. The breakfast buffet was great lots of fruit, omelette station, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, bacon sausage, cerals, rolls etc.

Dannette: Do the rooms accommodate 5 people? I noticed from your post that you are a family of 5.
