Raddison Hotel at Port?

I'm looking for a room the night before the member cruise. The rooms seem to be very high right now. Does anyone know if they normaly run at this rate? If so it would be cheaper for us (family of 5) to stay at Disney. Thanks, Chris

You'll get more luck at the cruise board.

We paid, I think $170 for a suite at the Rad last Feb - but I wasn't impressed. WDW is a little more than an hour away, and I wish I would have booked a night at the Y&BC (for SAB) or AKL (for the savannah) - and the comfort of restaurants and quality I know. Even a night a POR with the pool would have been better (and cheaper). And, of course, with DVC points, you could stay in a DVC resort.

Getting up 7:00 am (because you are excited anyway) having a kick off character breakfast, you'd still be at the terminal when it opens. And the ship doesn't open until noon. So you could sleep until 10am, grab breakfast on the run, and still be the first few hundred folks on the ship.

to be honest if I had to do it over again, i would have stayed the extra night at Disney and used their transportation.

We stayed at the Radisson last year, and I have to agree, it's nothing special. I think we paid $139 for a King Suite (we actually reserved the 2 King Suite, but they had none left when we got there at midnight, so we ended up with the 1 King Suite). Our "suite" appeared to be very worn, and could have used a good cleaning.

We stayed at the RonJon the last week in May, in a 2 Bedroom that was very comparable to DVC rooms. I believe the rate then was around $270 - $280. Nice place and Nice Pool. We would do it again.
