Me and my wife are planning a camping trip next year. we always stayed in Racoon lane. But i here it has changed. Is there a better place around the meadow thats great for tents.

The Preferred loops are going to be the most tent friendly, aside of course from the Partial loops which are ideal if you are tent camping. Premium loops surround the Meadows now, and offer pretty much no room for tents. I would stick with 100, 200, or 300 if I had to choose. 1600-1900 would work too, but based on your question I don't think you will be happy so far removed from all the activity.

does 1200, 1300 and 1400 still have back sand traps or did they remove those too...

No, 1200-1400 are all Premiums, so no sand pad at all. Sorry
