My hair was kinda a darker brown and we put either light blonde...but it looks honey blonde in it. I wanted to get colored highlights, but I was too scared to put them in thinkning they wouldn't come out...then have the school kick me out because my hair is distracting. lol

Which reminds me. Me and my friend decided our last day of our senior year they day before were going out and getting some colored highlights in our hair....permanent. It's gonna be awesome.

My mom was going to let me put colored highlights in [not permanent] my hair. But we forgot to get some. She wanted me to put plum. I thought my hair was to dark, but I guess we'll never know.

my mate had red highlights(bright red) and nothing was said, this boy in my reg got sublte red highlights and he was nearly flipping kicked out.

it seems the rule is girls can have blonde brown or red but boys can only have blonde and brown

imma gonna put electric blue in and go in to school with them

Electric blue...is so cool.

My friend has red highlights, but since her hair is black you can't see them. She told me that she's gonna go get her hair cut, then get it rehighlighted. Bright Red highlights this time. It's going to rock. Although she might get sent home it depends. Our school never follows our dress code, except someone put blue in their hair and I know he was sent home.

They just tell us we can't do anything to it that will distract people.
For a competition in our school our principal and vice principal colored their hair multi colored. [Not permanent].
I wanna put pink in it and go. But I know some kid had some of his hair red and I don't think he's gotton in trouble.

I agree though, it doesn't have to match. If your just having them in for the summer. I want pink ones, I have NOTHING pink in my closet. But If I'm just gonna have them in over the summer I would get them anyways. I don't care. Whatever you would like though. :]

like i said about the classroom... i had to collect somethig for the teacher so i did and when i came back 2 friends had a fight about one of their b/f and one started to cry causing her to go and mope in the corner of the room (our teachers cool and let us have a free lesson :-D)
