how much is the rack rate for the mod's with the free dining?
i went from a value and my price jumped over $650?? this is a lot
we will be staying at the cbr.

I was quoted a mod at $195 (3 adults) and I was so amazed at the price, I think maybe it was a mistake or something I'm not sure. I think normal rates should be a good bit less than that, but maybe depending on your view and the season prices probably can go pretty high.

BabyFu: Rates are based on 2 adults in a room. You were quoted the cost inclusive of a 3rd adult. Water view: $160 + 3rd adult + tax = about $195 or so. That's my best guess.

Value season: std: $145 or w/view $160 for mods. Plus tax.

megn...

i am going during value season. when i took my total due and took of my 1 day base pass and then took that total and divided by the 9 days we are staying it actually turned out to be about $175 a night(this is with tax) so this is probably preferred rate:confused3 . the sad part about this is i told the cm i didn't want the preferred area. i guess i will try to call them and see if i could change this to a standard but the promo is over with free dining so i am hoping i can change it.

I think you guys would thoroughly enjoy a stay at the CBR. It is definitely worth the extra money.

The rooms at the CBR are 340 square feet whereas the values are just 260 square feet. The CBR offers many amenities that you won't find at the values.

Each of the CBR villages has their own beach, laundry facility and quiet pool. There are also covered bus stops at each village so you're protected from the Florida elements. We never had a problem with the bus service and, because the CBR is so centrally located, it never took us long to make it to any Disney destination.

We have had numerous friends and family members stay at the values and then switch over to the CBR. They said there is no way they would go back to a value.

We, actually, went back and forth trying to decide if we wanted to downgrade to Pop Century but after much consideration (and reading), we decided to stick with the CBR. We would have had a savings of $653.00 if we stayed at Pop. But then, we would have to rent a refrigerator ($10.00) per night and we stay 10 days so that's $100.00. So, in actuality, we would only save $550.00. I just buckled down and saved the extra money so we could stay at the CBR again.

I say stick with the CBR!

Lisa
