Race Weekend questions

Questions for those who were in the parks during this year's race weekend....

How did this effect crowds?
How did it effect park hours?

I would say crowds felt about what I would expect for a holiday weekend, so busy. When I looked at wait times on the app, nothing stuck out as super out of the ordinary for my expectations.

As for park hours, Sunday the parks opened an hour later at 9 AM to accommodate the half marathon. Our friend hadn't checked and assumed an 8 AM open so she was stuck waiting to get inside.

Friday was lovely. The rest of the weekend was what was to be expected for a long weekend I’d say. However Sunday night cleared out- folks tired from the run I’d guess. I don’t watch hours enough to have a basis to compare. Late start Sunday due to the half.
