It was a beautiful day in Coeur d'Alene ID yesterday for a run.

And I finished my first half walking in 4:19 -- I'm pretty sure I was the only WISH'er in the field.

It was a great time and I can only get faster now!

Thanks lisah! I guess technically I had a PR this weekend, since I never ran a 5 miler before. I finished in 46 minutes flat. I wrote a recap on my blog http://www.990square.com/2011/05/hot-hot-hot-masser-5-miler/

Congrats on your first half. It certainly was a beautiful weekend for the event. I considered doing the CDA Half, but my budget didn't let me. Maybe next year.

It would be fun to see another WISH'er at an North Idaho race. I'm doing the Sandpoint Scenic Half in September. Hoping for a sub 4 hour time on that so I can keep working down for the Tinker Bell Half in January.
