Race Ready Shirts Please Read!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Mel, what a mess you've had to deal with! I have no problem with wearing the shirt as-is. Like others have said, I think that the type is too small to worry about. I also agree that you've done so much already that I don't feel you should have to do extra work just because they messed up.

I've been a small business owner (calligraphy), and I can guarantee to you that if I messed up every single envelope for a bride, I'd insist on paying for the new envelopes myself and re-doing the calligraphy at no cost.

On principle, I feel the owner should either offer a significant discount for taking them as-is or re-do the shirts. Even if he doesn't, though, I want my WISH shirt, lol! And, as others have said, if the discount offered isn't enough to bother with spreading around, Mel really does deserve it!

Mel-

I checked with dh (who is a bit of a grumpypants tonight, but that may be because he is finishing a research project for his college class tonight and I'm babbling about WISH shirts), and he agrees--we can fix the shirts to wear them and then you can keep the adjustment for your headache in putting this together.

He said, "If it's that small, I'll use a Sharpie [(R) brand permanent marker] and fix it myself."

I told him we could probably get lime fabric paint. ;)

Thanks for all the support...you guys are the best! :grouphug:

I've spoken to the owner and they have come up with a way to reprint the shirts we have that corrects the mistake. They will take the URL and block over it, then reprint the url correctly over the block in lime. They're going to send the proof as soon as it's ready. They sent one but did the text in red :confused3 so I've nixed that idea. It will essentially look like the DLF>DNF>>DNS at the top only smaller. I will ship the shirts back tomorrow and they'll turn them around as quickly as possible once they arrive, then ship them back. Then I can get them out to everyone as soon as I get them back!

Mel, that sounds like a terrific compromise. Thanks so much for all of your hard work on this!

Mel,
You are so awesome. I am so sorry you have had such a hard time with the printer. Thank you for all your hard work.
Roxy:)

Thanks for all of your work on this. I would have been fine either way but I appreciate the compromise. The shirts really do look fantastic!
