Race for the Cure donations

Hi Tricia, a great idea!! I just went to donate but what do I put in the "Target url" & "Subject/Title url" lines. I added a comment. Do I just put Race for a Cure on both lines or your name??? I clicked the redeem button but it wants something in those lines.

You can put pretty much anything--"n/a" "blahblah". It doesn't really matter. Those are just for advertisers.

I am busily processing these and we are doing great! I think my race page is up to $80 and I have abou 8 still left to process so far today. If I can hit $1000 (including the $500 SR match), I will be THRILLED!!

I'm about a day behind in posting the donations, but we are doing really well! I hope to be completely caught up this afternoon. (Visa is a little perturbed that I keep making so many $10 payments to the same place in a row--LOL!) I'm so thrilled at the response that we have had. Our members are incredibly generous.

Great idea Tricia! Just a suggestion -- maybe if you said on the SR page how much you had received compared to your goal it might motivate people to donate more. I just did mine!

I just donated too…this is very close me as well. My mother is a survivor of breast cancer and I just know one day my sister or I will have it. Not to mention my daughter and two nieces’ have a very good chance of getting it. Hopefully by then a cure will be in place. Wish you the best in reaching your goal.

I've been practicing running on the treadmill all week because it is too cold outside, but it is supposed to be in the 70s on Saturday. I can't even describe to you what running the race is like. I get as close up to the front as I can and then turn around and just stand in awe as I look across thousands of people waiting to race. You've got your "real" runners warming up (not me!), your average runner/walkers (me!), and then scores of families. The one that got me the most that keeps me going back every year was the father pulling the red wagon with the two small children in it carrying a picture of their mom. I'll never forget it as long as I live.

We're going to get to $1000 this week. Somehow. We're going to make it.
