I usually fly Southwest, so I have not yet used RAC -- but looking forward to it next trip. I will not be doing DME.

Will RAC allow check in of golf clubs as part of 2 bags luggage? Usually when you fly Southwest with clubs, you need to sign off on a liability waiver (at the airport, in person). Wondering if that'll negate the RAC possibility.

TIA!

I have flown SW to and from MCO from PHL numerous times with my clubs and do not remember signing a waiver but I could be wrong. As for RAC I was able to fly one time with Airtran so I could use RAC. This was done because I was able to fly in business class and they do not charge extra for your bags in that class. Checked my bags at the RAC desk and did not see them until we got home so yes they did allow my clubs as part of my 2 pieces of luggage. I didn't sign a waiver for Airtran at the RAC desk but if that is a SW only thing I can't help with that.

Thanks joxer!

I've found with Southwest I've signed on flight down to Florida, but not on round trip leg back. Perhaps that's on purpose (not just the gate agents are less interested in Florida.)

I really appreciate your help. :)
