I got a text off my friend this morning saying that Lilly (Her rabbit) has had babies in the night! Nothing too remarkable I hear you say.... But she only has the one girl rabbit and she's had her nearly a year and a half!!!
However, a couple of months back, Lilly managed to escape her hutch for half an hour...... When Freya (My friend) caught her, she was just still at the bottom of the back garden. She didn't think any more of it until today... But we live in the countryside, so it seems a fair assumption that Lilly has.... ahem.... 'got lucky' in that half hour??! So the bunnies have a wild rabbit daddy!!
Just thought I'd share this because it had us so confused this morning!!
I also might be getting one of these bunnies providing that they all pull through okay and aren't too vicious! Yay!!

now you know why they say 'breeding like rabbits'
We have two rabbits boy and girl both have been done for that very reason. Hope they are all ok!!
