Completely shocking.... don't know what to say. They were right in the middle of making a new album. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and the band.

May he RIP. I didn't like A7X but I hate it when young musicians die. It happened last year to another young band member. I honestly can't remember the bands name, but he died suddenly during a tour. And of course there's Allen Shellenberger which still upsets me.

So tragic.

I was on here last night and when I heard about it, I seriously cried. I cried several times last night and today.. I'm still sad about it.

Now he'll have a little piece of heaven, and he rocked the "Afterlife" in the living, and now he will rock the afterlife in death.

At first when I heard it, I seriously didn't believe it. Then I saw the millions of articles and the blog Avenged Sevenfold posted. It's still hard to accept the fact that he's dead. It's just so strange hearing "The late James Sullivan." It really bugs me.

I seriously used to be obsessed with this guy. I watched pretty much every video he was in on youtube and seen pretty much every picture ever taken of him. My obsession over him wasn't even close to my obsession over his drumming. He was one of the most amazing drummers, and honestly my favorite drummer of all time. His skill level was just beyond amazing.

I was kinda surprised and not surprised at the same time. I knew he was a hardcore drug user, but I never expected him to die this young. He used to brag about his drug use all the time and always seemed at least a little high.... I hate to say, but I'm pretty sure he died of an overdose.

Even with all of this, I'm really sad that he died. Great musician and he seemed so fun to be around. RIP Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. My thoughts go out to his wife, his friends, and his family.

It's so sad that people with so much talent die of drug overdoses. I'm guessing this guy probably died of some type of illegal drugs but prescription drugs are just as dangerous. So so sad.
