Although I am super excited about Soarin, I am so sad to had Food Rocks! gone. Yes, I know, it was a little lame on some accounts, but it was totally one of my favorites at Future World!

That reminds me, I totally miss the Horizons attraction too!!!

What is that one attraction that you wish was still around??

I agree with you, we enjoyed Food Rocks and Kitchen Cabaret! I truly miss Horizons also. If they do away with COP I will cry!

My kids LOVED "Food Rocks". We made it a point to go see it every visit. They were stunned and bummed when we were there over Thanksgiving and it was gone.

I am with you guys, I also really enjoyed the Horizons ride. I am still bummed about that one. It was neat. I am not a thrill rider of any sort, so those kind of rides like Horizons and Spaceship Earth are so me. I just hope the rumours of a Spaceship Earth change are just that - rumours.

I never got to go on Horizons-what was it? We will also miss Food Rocks. Soarin is such a great ride thugh it almost makes it worth losing.

Soarin' however, will be AWESOME! We're so excited about it coming to WDW!

Food Rocks was really cute, but you will love Soarin! We did it at Disneyland this past April and it was a great ride. It will be a super addition to Epcot!

Horizons was an awesome attraction where Mission:Space is located now. It was basically a slowmoving ride, similar to Spaceship Earth, that showed you how life would be in the future. It was just a bunch of really cool scenes about progress and stuff mixed in with really awesome giant rooms that played omni max type of movies. At the very end, you got to do this neat choose your own adventure thing, where you got to "ride" in a desert vehicle, in space, or underwater. It was just a really cool concept for an attraction. And we all can't forget about that farming scene where you could actually smell the oranges!!! genius! Sorry if you never got to experience Horizons!!!

Aw, bummer about Food Rocks. My kids liked that one.

Soarin does look like fun.. kinda like Batman at Six Flags here in Texas- but I'm assuming it will also have a height restriction that probably only my oldest will meet.

We missed Kitchen Kaberet when it left & we will miss Food Rocks. I also miss Mr. Toad & the Original Tiki Room.

I really miss Cranium Command. That was the funniest, most overlooked attraction in FW, IMHO. I'm so bummed that WoL is closed & CC along with it....


I can't even IMAGINE if they tried to close CoP - Don't you think all of us Disney Freaks would just revolt? I know I'd be devastated & ready to take up arms.

I really liked Cranium Command as well, although I can understand why they closed it. The popular references, like SNL's Hanz & Franz, and actors like Jon Lovitz & George Wednt, were pretty dated. Kids these days haven't got a clue who these guys are!

Ahhh, don't get me started on Food Rocks. I saw it once and laughed till I cried. Then, poof! it was gone. I miss all of future world. It's almost completely replaced. I enjoy the new rides, but I'm nostalgic for the things I remember from childhood. Those Epcot dark rides were my favorite, and now there's hardly an left! Soarin' is fun, though and I'm sure it will be a big hit. As long as Spaceship Earth is safe, I can continue to visit Future World without getting too sad.
