Qustion about caryon bag

I am only 5"3 and i can lift my bag with ease so am i tall enough or will i strugle any experance with someone doing a carry on 5"3 and under

I'm 5'0". I can reach the overhead if I want to...easier with a soft sided carry on though! At 5'3" you should be just fine! Plus, the flight attendants are happy to assist if you let them know you need it.

My DD is 5'1 and has no trouble flying on her own and putting a bag in the overhead.
Just watch your weight. Make sure you can lift what you bring. Height won't be your issue, weight will.

just packed and lifted and i can lift with ease so how does a duffle go in the over head

However you get it in there. If they need more room a flight attendant will rearrange and shuffle your bag around to accommodate another.

I am 5'2" and have never had a problem getting my carry on into the overhead. And often I have had taller men who offer to get it up or down for me without my asking. I have only asked someone once and that was when I had hurt my shoulder and was having trouble with moving it around.

Please don’t rely on this. It’s not the FA’s job to stow our belongings. And not all of them will do it.

I think you’re describing it the opposite of how I would, but I think you’re meaning the same. If you mean so that one of the ends of the bag will go in first, yes. So when you look at the bin you’ll see the other end of it. And the bulk of the duffel is between it.
