Quotes

Hey I've just realised where I've been going wrong with quotes!!

Thought I'd own up because I've noticed other people appear to be having the same problem as me, i.e. the quote box doesn't appear properly, just the text.

I've been in the habit of reading the DisBoard and only logging in if I want to respond. Therefore I read the posting, click quote and it opens the log in box. I log in from there without a problem and everything looks fine. It's only when I submit and see the posting that I realise the quote hasn't worked properly.

Solution? Simple! Log in before clicking the quote button. It's so obvious isn't it? Shame it's only taken about 4 weeks for me to realise

Hi Brooke - glad the tip was helpful Even better - I've just discovered the 'multi quote' button (next to the quote button).... which does exactly as it's name suggests!
