As we have annual passes we may return to DLP in 2013, but after the crowds last week I would be looking for the absolute quietest time to visit, but during the warmer months. Obviously outside of school holidays is a must, but do France / rest of Europe have the same school holidays as UK ? Any opinions ?

France wise - holidays and public holidays - you'd be best going after the 21st of May

Before that you have the school holidays that go from 12th April-13 May across the 3 zones plus the 1st/8th/9th/19th/20th are all public holidays

Italy start their summer holidays mid June (between the 9th and the 15th depending on the region) and Spain follows around the 22nd

So if you can look at going between the 21st May and the 10th of June it would be good :)

Thanks for the info carrie, very useful :)
We are planning to go June 2-6 Sunday-thurs - school half term for us

we went end of may one year and it was amazing...we walked on to rides and were able to stay on them over and over again!! the weather was lovely too!! i really recommend going late may/early june!!

I would recommend mid to end September avoiding weekends.

Our first trip was 22-25th September and we had lots of lovely sunshine and very few queues. The trade-off for out of season visits is that not all the restaurants etc are open.

HTH

I've always found late May, early June and the 1st week of December to be quite in the parks
