Will be staying at Pop century 5/9-5/15 with my two sons ages 2&1. I have heard that some rooms at the resort can be kinda noisy and both of my boys are very light sleepers. I have paid for the preferred room but would like to call and request a specific section. Any one have any suggestions to help this mommy have two well rested boys and a happier vacation

the preferred rooms are all near the pools - so not the quietest rooms.

go change it to a preferred - then you want lake side.

OH! I know the answer!!! Top floor, 50's building lake view. Stayed there many times.

We stayed in the 90s building and it was very quiet.

It wasn't a preferred, but we had a view of the pool anyway. :confused3

When at Disney - as in any vacation spot - you are at the mercy of your neighbors. Our very quiet room at ASMovies was ruined after a some screaming children moved in. The toddler screamed all day, the baby screamed all night! This was mid-week for us.

I really felt bad for the parents. We left for our trip home 3 days later, they had to live with it. We never could figure out when they slept! :confused3

I completely agree with Jenny as I stayed in building 3, top floor, lake view and did not hear a single thing :yay: My requests (in order of preference) were: Lake view, top floor and 50's building and I was so happy to have all three requests met :woohoo:
