Quieter for adults..CS or CBR???

CSR is great for either. Check out my CSR website below for pics and info. Best pool, transportation and food options.

Wow....it looks fabulous! What buildings do you recommend? Don't want to have to walk too far to main dining area, but prefer a water view, too.

I have never stayed at the CS resort, but have stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort a few times so I can provide some information on it.

The CBR is spread out which some people hate and some people love. I am in the latter category. With the resort being spread out into villages each with multiple buildings your not burdened by crowds of people and the noise they bring.

We also enjoyed the walks to and from Old Port Royale. We were in Trinidad North which was kinda far, but we found the walks peaceful and relaxing. Also, after visiting a few different resorts the CBR has one of the best food courts in all WDW resorts. Their selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is huge.

They also have the pool bar at the main pool which is quite relaxing. Each village also has it's own quiet pool. I would check the refuribishments section of this site to plan around when the main pool area will be closed which I believe starts early next year.

Hope this helps.

Here are some good building choices...

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. (Most convenient location and most preferred

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool (and is the old smoking optional building).

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop 2.

I do not recommend a water view at ANY moderate. Because the entries are through outdoor corridors, almost every window looks out over the coridor. Worse yet, water view could be a pool, a fountain, or a tiny glimpse of the lake through trees. The only benefit of booking it is to ensure you're facing the interior of the resort and prevents facing the parking lots.

I have no idea if this is true (although, I've stayed in a king room at POR, POFQ and CSR), but king rooms generally face the interior of the resort. If it's an adult only vacation, it might be worth it to spend the monsy there.

I've never stayed at CBR, but I do really love CSR and find the aura very peaceful and romantic at night. I love strolling around the lake :) We stayed in the Cabanas the last trip (9B) and it was perfectly located near El Centro. We don't use the pool, so that wasn't an issue but it seemed like a short walk.

I've also stayed at Casitas building 5. It was really close to a bus stop, and reasonably close to El Centro, but seemed to be quite far from the main pool.
