Quiet Pool??

Sorry for this stupid question.....
Is a "quiet Pool" for adults only or does it just mean that there is no slide?
Does POFQ have a quiet pool?

No the quiet pool isn't just for adults. There are usually many children in them.
And POFQ doesn't have any quiet pools, but POR does and you are allowed to use those pools because they are sister resorts.

Disney usually calls them a non feature pool.

I always have to laugh when parents tell their rambunctious little ones to lower their voices cause it is the quiet pool!

Quiet pools are basic pools with no accessories...no slide, waterfall, beach, bar, snack bar, etc. It is often in a non-prime location. Thus, the setting is quiet since most guest flock to the pool with the other features.

Quiet Pool Examples:
PR no volcano, bar, away from water and dock
CR not shaped like Mickey, shaped like a circle, no slide and next to water

I don't know anything about so-called "quiet pools" but the quietest and nicest pool I've been to @ WDW is the OKW pool, it is the BEST!!

I spent time at the "quiet pool" at BC last year. Originally thought "quiet" meant adults only. There were a couple of days with several kids loudly playing in the pool. At first I thought since they sounded like they were from another country that they didn't know about SAB. Considered going over to the dad to tell him about the other great pool area. But then they started asking him when they could go to the "better pool" , but he said "no" maybe later. Guess there's a reason why they don't call them "adult pools". But I still found it much quieter when I wanted to just relax with a good book.

That's kind of disappointing. I was hoping quiet really meant quiet. Not adult only but no screaming at the top of their lungs kids either. My mom wants to spend time at the pool this trip and we were planning on using a 'quiet' pool. She's elderly and rambunctious kids might make it a little unpleasant (and perhaps unsafe) for her.
