Quiet Place to Work Remotely at ASM?

My husband, toddler, and I originally planned to stay at Wilderness Lodge (renting DVC points) for 4 nights in early March and have decided to tack on an extra night at WDW. We’re currently considering one night at either All Star Movies or off-site at the Holiday Inn Orlando - Disney Springs. Due to my husband’s work schedule, he’ll need to work remotely on our last day before we fly out in the evening. Since checkout is at 11 at both hotels, he’ll need to find a quiet place to work for the remainder of the day. We’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn before, so I know there are plenty of quiet spaces to work inside/outside of the hotel. Is there anywhere he could possibly work at ASM, or will it be literal madness anywhere he goes? I’m assuming the latter, but wanted to confirm!

I actually had to do this earlier this year. It wasn't ideal, but I did some work in the food court and some near the pool. The food court wasn't that busy during the day, so I'd describe it as "fine", could have been better, could have definitely been worse. Since you're familiar with Holiday Inn and know some places to work that might be the better option.

Thank you so much!!

If you have a vehicle, have him go back to the WL. You will find many quiet places there! And some by the fire!

Sometimes Disney hotels won't let you drive in unless you have a hotel resie or a dining resie.

Good point! I think it it's midday and they explain, they would let him in. Or even take resort transportation (bus to MK and boat over), then pick him up later, or a rideshare. There have been a few times where I've stayed on the coast and driven into Disney to meet up with friends for lunch at Geyser Point. I've always been let in and no reservation. But it was not a busy time.

Or have him bus to MK and take the monorail to CR. There are lots of places there to work with no problems.

ASMO only has a few areas in the lobby area and maybe a far corner in the FC, the rest are outside and they do have some benches by the playground etc.
If he can get over to CSR they have a conference area that is open and has lots of spots to work from. I really would not worry to much of being turned away from WL either, the resorts that may turn you away are MK and EPCOT resorts and even them I have had no issues getting in just explaining that I am just visiting and it also help that you are staying at a WDW resort so that they can scan your MB. Yes, there is a possibility of being turned away but, me personally, I would go. Mod resorts are definitely much easier to park at and I would give them a 99% rate to be let in. The exception is definitely CR no parking unless you have an ADR.
