When we've stayed at the Poly in the past we've always stayed at Tokelau (sp?). We have young children and like to be in a quieter area because they usually fall asleep on the early side. Do you think this building is the best location or do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for the help...looking forward to some magic!

We just got back Sun. We stayed in Tokalou we have small children also. Our room was 1912 at the end closest to the water. It was very quite. We were far away from the elevator which was fine because we were on the 1st floor. I think it would probably be noisey close to the doors and elevator. I would think that the houses closer to the GCH and the volcano pool would be louder. That is the only place we have ever stayed We love it. Have fun.

Tahiti lagoon view side. Very private beach compaired to the beach near Hawaii and alwasy seemed quiet. The other location would be Aotearoa but at night you get the Luau drums which some of us enjoy.

We also find GV in Rapa Nui very quiet. Just make sure you're not on the parking lot side. We've not been in GV Tahiti but I think that would be very quiet, too.

Have to agree with Tikiman about Tahiti lagoonview. We stayed there last year and it was very quiet. We have also stayed in Aotearoa a few years ago and you could hear the drums from the Luau but it wasn't loud at all. It was very faint and we found it enjoyable. We also loved the view of the monorail passing by.
