Someone mentioned on another post skipping Palos - putting your child in the Oceaneer Lab the night of Tritons and having a quiet dinner there.
But what if your tablemates have children? Disney wont put you at a different table just because your own child isnt with you, would they? I had already thought of this, but I dont really feel this is a guaranteed solution just because your own child isnt with you.

Your dinner seating will be a permanent table assignment for each evening. You will not be able to switch seats. Palo is an option for dining alone without children of course.

Right. The main dining rooms are not exactly quiet and if you are seated at a larger table then you will have tablemates, most likely. I'd definitely go for Palo if you want to assure a private table and a quiet meal. :)
