QUICKSILVER vs. MEARS

We just booked the QUICKSILVER van serivice after comparing the rates and ease of use.

We are arriving at Kissimmee Amtrak station. The Quicksilver will pick us up at the Train station, (their driver will be holding up a sign with our name on it). They will take us to an Orlando hotel for the first night, pick us up in the morning and take us to our the Fort Wilderness Camp grounds where we will have a cabin for 10 nights. We have schduled to have the Quicksilver van pick us up and take us to Orlando Airport for our plane back home.

We found the fairs about 30 dollars cheaper for the ride to the airport, AND THE BIG PLUS IS Quicksilver only takes you to the airport and DOES NOT make stops like MEARS at other other Disney Resorts till the bus fills up.

I found the QUICKSILVER info here on this website about 5 months ago, don't know where, but it was here! Anyway, the toll free number is 1-888-768-6939, ask for Gregory. I'll post the results of our expericence using Quicksilver when we get back - which won't be until late August.

They will stop at a grocery store for you on the way to your disney hotel and let you stock up on food and essentials.

We're booked with them for June. I had read many positive things about them here. They were extremely prompt with answering any emails I sent. We have a 30 minute grocery stop scheduled as well. We're really looking forward to it as this is our first time doing it with a towncar service rather than a rental.

My friend used QUICKSILVER in april and she loved them. They picked her up at the airport and were great!!!
