What would be the QUICKEST WAY to get to Cape May at the Beach Club if I am at Hollywood Studios? Thanks

would be to take a cab but HS isn't that far from BC so taking the bus could be a option but its up to you if you want to pay the money for the cab.

Hmmm. I forget whether there is a bus from Hollywood Studios to Beach Club or do you have to use the boat which doesn't go very fast, which would mean allowing an hour including waiting at the dock, intervening stops, and walking up to the resort.

I would do the boat and just give plenty of time to get there. It is such a nice ride

If you find that you're pressed for time and notice that you just missed a boat, go ahead and walk. Should take 10-15 minutes depending on your walking speed.

Take the boat and get off at Swan and Dolphin. Walk from there to Beach Club (you'll beat the boat over!).

Thanks the boat sounds Great! Do you think that the boat ride distance from Hollywood Studios to the Beach Club is about the same distance from the boat ride from Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian? We always take the boat from MK to the Grand Floridan & it is a pretty quick ride.

It's about three quarters of a mile, give or take a little bit.

I agree that walking is faster than waiting for a boat, and it should take about 15 minutes. If you see a boat pulling up to the dock when you're leaving Hollywood Studios you won't go wrong trying to catch it. The Yacht & Beach Club is the second stop (Swan & Dolphin is the first), and it should take about the same amount of time as walking, maybe a couple of minutes longer. On past trips we opted a couple of times to walk between Hollywood Studios and the Yacht & Beach Club dock instead of taking the boat (both directions) when it was already at the dock, and each time we arrived at our destination as the boat was near or pulling up to the dock.

If there is no boat at the dock, walking is faster. The path for walking is to your right upon exiting the Studios. Follow along the water and you will see the path (it is marked) and it is a nice walk. We stay at the BWV every trip and always walk to and from the Studios. We find it quicker than the boat. You would walk past the Boardwalk, past S/D and then come to the YC first and then the BC.

Are you sure? I thought it was to the left as you exit DHS, and then as you're walking toward the resorts/Epcot, the boat dock would be on your right as you approach the walkway?

There are no buses between DHS and any of the Epcot resorts...not going to be an option to BC.
When leaving DHS, with the canal on your left, buses to your right, walk past the canal, staying on the sidewalk. You will notice a pathway/sidewalk going down towards the canal. There should be a sign there that tells you that is the way to BW. Stay on that walkway...take you right to the BW. You can then go left and up and over the bridge, go right on the bridge and it takes you to the YC/BC.

The boat will take about 18 mins from DHS, but that doesn't include any wait times for the boat to get there and load. But once it leaves, it takes under 20 mins.

For a 5:30 ADR, at BC, you should leave DHS by 4:45....better to be early than worry about your time.

YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST, Thanks, I think that my 4yr old will love the boat ride, so we will ride the boat over and walk back to Hollywood Studios so that we can walk off some of those Cape May Calories

I truly don't understand how walking can be faster than the boat. You guys must walk awfully fast. I was riding a scooter in May and left the BC dock at the exact same time as the boat did. I arrived at DHS at exactly the same time as the boat did, and I was actually passing the people who were walking. If there's a boat there or nearly there, it's definitely faster IMO.
