Quickest way to WDW from MCO?

DH and I are arriving in August around 7 pm and I was wondering what the quickest way to get to the Grand Floridian would be. We are flying in on Air Tran, are we better off using ME since we won't have to wait for our bags, renting a car or using a car service? Thanks for the advice!

You will get many different answers and will have to sort through a variety of opinions.

My personal view is that if you are checking bags, ride DME and use the luggage transfer service, you will arrive at your resort in about the same amount of time as you would if you collected your own bags and used another form of transport.

If you are using carry-on bags only, you certainly can get to your resort faster by using a taxi or town car service.

If you are going to collect your bags regardless, then you will get to the resort faster by using a taxi or a town car service vs. the DME bus.

I think this is dead-on. If I were in a rush I think I'd use private taxi. As soon as you get your luggage you are off. You may get lucky and have your bags come up soon and you are on your way.
