Quickest way to get from WL to GF

Need advice and quick---we leave in 4 hours. We have a priority seating at 8am for tomorrow at the 1900 Park Fare--we are staying at the WL. What is the quickest way for us to get from one place to the other? And will there be any trouble getting there since MK doesn't open till 9am? Thanks for any info.

jmommy, we had the same situation last winter and if I remember correctly we took the TTC bus from WL and then the resort monorail from the TTC to GF.

The quickest way would be to take the MK boat. Transfer to the GF boat. However, at that hour, the MK boat will not be running.

I'd advise to hop the small boat to CR & take the monorail. We did this one morning a couple of weeks ago. We had an early b/fast at Cindy. It took us 40 minutes door to door. We had only a few minutes wait for the boat & the monorail was right there, no wait. So, I'd leave WL abt 7am or 7:15 to make sure you'll make your PS.

Thanks for the quick responses. I had thought about taking the TTC bus and then monorail, but had not thought about taking the boat to Contemporary--that's a great suggestion.

We had a 1900 Park Faire Cindy's Dinner at the GF one night. We were waiting for the TTC bus and were going to transfer to the monorail. But an Animal Kingdom bus showed up and we remembered that it always picks up GF guests on the way.

This probably won't work for you, but if you are going to the GF on an AK Early Entry day, take the Animal Kingdom/Blizzard Beach. It stops first at the Grand Floridian. It worked out great for us! We were there in less than 5 minutes.

Otherwise, I would go with the bus to the TTC (starts at 7 am) and the monorail to the GF (one stop). The Contempory boat to the monorail (2 stops to the GF) starts running at 7:45 so walking to the resort and going to the 4th floor and then going 2 stops may be cutting it close.

Indeed, the AK bus does go to the GF after the WL. However, there are times when the bus may not stop there, so it's always best to ask the driver just to be sure.

Im sure this reply is too late, but my advice would be the TTC bus then Monorail.
