Quickest way from fantasyland to haunted mansion?

Curious if it is quicker to walk back thru the castle or around by thunder mountain. It’s been so long since I have been to DL, and have been to wdw several times since so I have it all muddled

It depends. You have 3 routes; castle and enter through Adventureland, castle and enter through Frontierland, or around Big Thunder Mountain. My preference is usually the route through Frontierland or around Big Thunder Mountain. The area around Jungle cruise and Indy can get really congested. I also tend to take the lower walkway near the river instead of the walkway that goes over the Pirates entrance.

We usually take that little passageway through the castle & go through Adventureland. PP is right about the congestion near Indy, so you could go through Frontierland if you wanted. I also like the path that goes out the back of Fantasyland, behind Big Thunder and along the Rivers Of America. I hope this makes sense. Hard to describe without pointing to it on a map! I think it's really 6 of 1 as far as how long it takes. It can really vary depending on the time of day.

Thanks! I’m sure it will come back to me once I am there. Indy will be closed when I am there so non issue on that front. Probably not all that much of a difference which way I go!

Depends where in Fantasyland you are at, but I prefer the green path.
