quickest way from DHS to BC

wondering if the boat is faster than an uber. anyone know? I need to get from the star wars fireworks dessert party back to BC as quickly as possible. TIA!

So, I'm only saying this based on my own experience. If I was in your situation, I would walk. Boats will have a wait. Uber will be fighting the same traffic that everyone else is dealing with at that point. If you leave HS, hang a left and walk down to ...and through...the Boardwalk area, hang another left over the bridge, you'll be at BC in about 20-25 min. I actually love to do this walk and rarely use transportation from the Epcot resorts to or from HS. That's my opinion...others will have theirs.

Walking will be the fastest of any option since there will probably be a mass exodus situation resulting in lines to get out.

We beat the boat every time when we walk. We walk at a pretty good pace, but the boat is also very slow.

Adding to all of the previous posters that we often walk this as well. However, when we see a boat close to arriving we often will take the boat just to save the energy. We have stayed at Boardwalk and the Beach club and we learned that the Boardwalk is also a pretty close walk to the Swan/Dolphin boat stop.

Definitely if you are doing it after the Star Wars fireworks, walking will be your fastest option. People flood out of the park after that, so the lines for boats, buses, and the vehicle line to drive out can be long. Being in the Star Wars dessert party viewing area, you won't be one of the first ones out of the park, so the lines will probably build before you get out. If you happen to get out and there is not really a line for the boat yet and the boat is there or pulling up, it usually takes about the same amount of time as walking- but you would have to be really lucky to hit it just right and not to have a line in front of you so long that you don't make the first boat. One of the things we like about staying at YC is that we can just walk from DHS and EPCOT at the end of the night.

Walk the beautiful pathway along the canal from DHS past the Swan and Dolphin and Boardwalk Inn , past the Yahct Club and into the Beach Club.

To Beach Club, I’d take the boat if I could see one pulling up. I think the boat will be faster in that case.

Keep in mind that the boat runs HS->Swan/Dolphin->BC/YC->Boardwalk-Epcot. Based on the layout, bridges, and walking paths, I think the boat would be quicker to Swan/Dolphin and BC/YC. Walking will always be quicker to Boardwalk and Epcot.

Not when a freak thunderstorm bursts into torrential rain and lightning strikes the tennis court at BW as you are walking by... Thank goodness there was a bridge we could huddle under for a bit of shelter!

I uber'd back to BWI one night after the Star Wars fireworks as DS and I simply couldn't walk any more (the wait for the boat was way too long). Uber was super duper quick.
