Quickest way from BLT to Hollywood Studios

We are renting a villa at BLT this summer (since our resales got taken). To frequent travelers...what is the quickest way from BLT to Hollywood Studios. Is it quicker/easier to just take the bus, or is it quicker/easier to take the monorail to epcot, go out the back gate of epcot and then take the boat to Hollywood Studios?

There is no bus. You can walk to MK from BLT. Walking will be much quicker than walking over to the Contemporary and taking the monorail around the full resort loop.

Do you have the acronyms mixed up? What's all this about Epcot?

Yup - it's a quick easy walk straight across the BLT parking lot.

Taking the monorail in any way from BLT/CR to MK will take you a good half hour. Walking takes 10 minutes.

Take the bus.

Definitely the bus. The other way could take at least an hour with all the extra waiting (two monorails and a boat that makes several stops) and bag checks to go through.

It's faster to drive to all but the Magic Kingdom. Whether it's more convenient depends much more on your plans.

We drive to all except the MK usually. Last week we drove to the MK from OKW, left OKW at 8:30 and arrived to the gate at 9:55. It was a debacle at the TTC.
Resort monorail was not running, Express was backed up, only 2 of 3 ferry boats in operation and (somehow) the ferry boats weren't offset appropriately - both left TTC back-to-back so we had to wait for a full round-trip (and due to the line length we didn't get the "next" boat).

This is why I prefer BLT, I can walk to MK easily enough and drive to the other parks.

When at BLT, we usually drive to Studios and AK, and monorail to Epcot (and either monorail or walk to MK). It might be quicker to drive to Epcot but the double monorail is usually not long and you end up right at the park rather than a parking lot walk or tram away.
