Quickest driving route from MCO to WDW

I personally prefer to take the South exit out of the airport to 417 - the Central Florida Greeneway. It's about a 20-minute drive to exit 6 - which is State Road 536. Then watch for signs to your resort area. That's how I go to the Swan/Dolphin, where I usually stay. If you're staying at the All Stars, Coronado Springs, or Animal Kingdom Lodge - you might want to stay on 417 until exit 3 at Osceola Parkway, but make sure you have some change, as that toll booth is unmanned.

Going back to the airport is a little trickier, because on more than one occasion I followed signs to 417 (turning too soon), which took me down to Osceola Parkway to get on the Greeneway. Instead, stay on Buena Vista Drive until you see signs for 536/I-4.

I always use the south exit to 417 also. Very little traffic. Two $1 tolls if you get off at exit 6. Then keep straight and you will drive into WDW near Downtown Disney.

Specifically:

Take the South airport exit to SR417 west.

Drive about 20 miles.

Get off SR417 at Osceola Parkway west.

Drive about 3/4 mile.

Turn right at Victory Way.

Drive about 1 mile.

Turn right on E. Buena Vista Drive.

Drive 1/4 mile.

Turn right into CBR.

CBR is closer to 536 than to Osceola Parkway - so I would still get off at exit 6 and follow the signs to the Epcot resorts.

True, but SR536 changes names twice and goes through several interchanges and signals that can be confusing to those who are not familiar with the area.
