Quick US air question

Okay I've never flown with a connecting flight or with US air. I'm flying out of Richmond and changing flights in Charlotte for a flight to Pittsburgh. When I checkin in Richmond and get my boarding pass, will I get my boarding pass for the flight to Pittsburg? Do I have to go through security again in Charlotte?

I flew this route last August. When you check-in at RIC, you will receive both boarding passes. You will not have to go through security in Charlotte. Charlotte's airport is large, you will probably have to go from E concourse (regional jets) over to B or C (mainline jets). There's a nice foodcourt between B and C.
