Heading to Orlando for a quick trip to see my new Grandson Wyatt. My daughter lives in Longwood. I looking for some recommendations for a hotel in that area. I've been looking on line but there are so many to chose from. I'm not looking to spend a fortune but I am looking for some comforts. Any help would be appreciated.

A desired price range would be helpful. Also, what do you mean by "some comforts"?

Comfort are easy, nice room, internet, maybe on-site breakfast would be nice. Price range maybe $89 to $ 129. I'm afraid of bargain rooms having too much comfort. I don't want to spend more just to spend more. I've looked a few hotels on-line in that range now I'm just looking for a review or two. All the hotel have reviews but you really don't know who's giving the review. Some say the beds are horrible others say they have the best beds.
I figured the board will give me some honest reviews.

gojoe,
Here are two suggestions that "seem" to fit your requirements:

Candlewood Suites, Lake Mary http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/cw/1/en/hotel/MCOLM/welcome?start=1

Holiday Inn Express, Sanford / Lake Mary http://www.hiexpress.com/hotels/us/en/sanford/snrfl/hoteldetail

Sorry I can't give you a personal review of either since I live here and don't stay in local hotels. You may have to research quality on Tripadvisor. Look for trends rather than focussing on an isolated good or bad review.

I hope you do get some more opinions, but I doubt that you will. Almost all of the posters on this board are interested only in the areas around WDW/Universal/SeaWorld and maybe International Drive 25+ miles south of here in Orange & Osceola Counties, not Seminole County.
