quick trip--will we need a car, or TTC?

Opinions needed. On our first WDW trip we stayed at the Poly and rented a car, which we only used for DD, AK and MGM.
Last year we stayed at BWV and used all bus transport, using TTC to and from the airport.
We have planned a quick trip in December, arriving 10:15 Thursday and leaving 7:10 Sunday night. Staying at the Poly. Going to MVMCP at MK, want to see OSborne lights, stop at Epcot, and also check out the BWV, WL, and GF Christmas decorations.
With monorail transport, will we need a car? We can take the boat to WL. It just seemed so simple when we used TTC, but we were there in June and the parks were always open late.

We always take Happy Limo, even when we just do a short trip. The only pain is that after the parks are closed, you have to transfer via downtown Disney (won't be as much of a problem for you with the monorail at the Poly), but to me, it is much better than driving. When I am on vacation, I am very lazy and prefer to let Disney and Happy Limo do the driving for me!

If you are staying on-site, I wouldn't get a car unless the price is right and you feel like driving. I perfer to use the Towncar services unless we plan on going outside WDW.
