Quick trip to WDW after DCL

We are taking a 3 day cruise next Memorial Day. Because of my job I can not be out for an entire week. I was thinking of heading to WDW (staying onsite at the Poly)on Sunday morning after we dock and then taking an afternoon flight home on Memorial Day. At least we will get a day and a half in the parks and I will not miss any work because of the holiday. I would keep this part of our trip plans a secret from my DS's. Do you think it is worth it ?

It is definitely worth it! Any minute we can spend at WDW is a blessing. Besides, you will disembark from the ship very early.DCL is the quickest we have encountered.

We have done this very thing, but at the end of a 7 day DCL. We went from the port to OKW, spent one night at OKW and took a flight out the next day. We had a ball, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Now, a few more days at WDW would have been ideal, but we had schedule issues like you and needed to get back home. My motto: a day of magic at WDW is a better than a day at home
