Need advice, please. Here's the deal - I'm getting an AP for 2004 & will be going for 10 nts. in Mar. for my honeymoon (new DH's 1st time!!!). It'll also be my 1st time in 20 visits w/o my precious DD (12) - she's not too happy, but understands & we're planning to take her as soon as school gets out (we're both teachers). This is the dilemma - DD & I are craving some WDW magic - we went last Christmas, but DD got really ill, so trip was a bust. My bro works for AA, so we can fly standby & I got the "resort discount email" & POR has availability for a quick 3 night trip Jan. 2-5. We won't miss any school, so do we go for it? Cost is minimal & there's standby availability. My Christmas shopping is done, so my tutoring cash on my next paycheck could pay for this surprise trip... Yes, or is it too much of a hassle for too little a time? Help me decide, please!

YES, You should go with your DD and have a GREAT TIME, What's to even think about. Sunny Florida awaits ya!!! :sunny:

You should absolutely go! This will be a very precious trip for you and DD to enjoy alone!!!

I'm an AP holder who lives just 2 hours away from DW and still manages to make every trip magical (even if it's literally just to go in and walk around the MK and maybe ride a single ride ;) ) !

Not sure if it would be something the 2 of you would be interested in or not but tea at the Garden View Lounge is a favorite activity for my little sister(13) and I to do when ever we get the chance!

Without a doubt I would go.....I have gone for only 2 days before.

Heck ya go, life is short, you won't regret going but I bet you would regret NOT going.

Go, go, go!!!

We just decided to do the same thing later this month! Have fun!!
