We're back from a quick trip down to WDW at the Fort.
We usually stay at one of the cabins but wanted to do something different this time around and decided to rent a camper.
Thanks to whoever it was that posted the info for MyRvHotel. They were awesome to deal with. We arrived and the camper was already all set up with clear instructions on anything that we might have had to use. It was clean and well equipped and the golf cart was all charged up and ready to go.We had one question while we were there and they were very quick to call us back and answer our question.
It was really nice to be able to have our dog with us. Last time we boarded him in the kennel when we weren't spending time with the ILs and their dog in their camper, but with the kennels going to the central facility, it was way more convenient to have him stay at the camper.
We wouldn't hesitate at all to use them again.
As for the Disney aspect of the trip, all was well. It was a chilly week but sunny and nice. We did MK and EPCOT and a jolly time was had by all.
We ate at TE for dinner on the first night and they were having a very good evening. I know that TE tends to be hit or miss, and that night it was a hit. Even DS who eats nothing ate a couple of pieces of pizza. We had TE for breakfast twice and both times were good, but I generally think they are very good for breakfast anyway. ILs ate there for lunch one day and were not impressed with the a la carte aspect of it and said it was too expensive for what it was.
We ate at HDDR on the evening of the 7th and had a blast. The cast were really on that night and the red head and Sixpence were just hilarious. The cast was going off script a lot and everything was just working.
It was the holiday version of the show, which I always like, but I miss the "love song" that goes into This Land is Your Land (Red River Valley?). DS3 just had a blast and a half at the show. He was totally into the Hootin' & Hollerin' aspect of the show and was just thrilled that his job was to bang on plates and then go at it on the washboard. Seriously, he looked practically possessed with that spoon!
