We had a great time at the Fort last month. December 10-20.
Sorry I was so long posting but it has been crazy since we got back. My dh got very sick
on the way home. He got that bug that was going around. We wouldn't wish that on our worst enemy.
I ended up having to drive our motorhome home which was interesting since it was my first time.
No one flipped me off or blew the horn and I didn't hit anything so I figured I did ok. It was nerve racking though. 95 freaked me out. At least now I know I can do it. Even 95. I didn't want to even go in the motorhome for a few days. I was over it after all that. I even said if we were going back to Disney we would stay in a resort. That didn't last long.
I would miss the Fort way too much. Plus you can't beat having your own bed and bathroom when you are sick.
Then I got what he had besides the cold I got while at Disney.
We were in the 400 loop. We had requested the 800 loop but we ended up coming in a day early due to the bad weather so they had us there and could keep us there for the whole stay. I was glad not to have to move. We were in 404. We really liked that spot. I have requested it for next trip. I thought it might be noisey but it wasn't. It was fun sitting our watching everyone go by.
We loved the premium sites. The extra space was very nice.

We did the Hoop dee Doo Revue for the first time. That was AWESOME! I highly recommend it. I can see why it is the longest running show in Disney. We also had an awesome meal at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Well worth it. We also ate at Mama Melroses which was yummy. Also ate at Liberty Tree Tavern,50s PTC and Coral Reef. Every where was good except for Coral Reef. I have really never had a bad meal in Disney until now. We will not go back. It is way to expensive for such substandard food. I don't remember it being so bad before. Part of it could be that we are use to good seafood. It doesn't take long to over cook and ruin good seafood.
Can't wait to go back this December. Keeping my fingers crossed that the economy will turn around. I am getting ready to have my hours cut back a little now but better that then no job at all.
Hopefully that will remain the case.
I forgot to mention that we LOVED Toy Story Mania. What fun.
