Just a quick trip report here
I headed down to WDW for my first "adult only" trip. I actually arrived a bit over 24hrs before my friends did. It was great to have some alone time. I was actually alone for most of the days because my friends were "commando' touring the parks. I got to meet new people on this trip and got to hang out with friends that live down there as well as hang with my friends that came with me.
I checked into BWV and had my choice of rooms, so I picked 2065 which is right next to the lobby and overlooks the main stairway heading down to the boardwalk. It's a great place to people watch. My room was ready and everyone was so great at BWV.
1st night - Jellyrolls. Where else? Went in solo, but hung out with Kirsten and Joe who were a lot of fun. I ended up seeing them there several nights.
My friends arrived on Sunday afternoon and checked into BWI, just on the opposite side of the lobby. One of my friends stayed with me and the other 3 at BWI. I got them a great deal with an AP rate!
So here's basically my whole trip report.....
Slept in, sat in sun, went running, winged it for meals and Jellyrolls at night.
It was a great relaxing trip not having to do the parks. I only went in Epcot for a walk, MK to see PandyPaws (Donna) drive the train and MGM to check out the Star Wars stuff
My Jellyrolls report -
Got to hear everyone play. Pete was HOT with "Middle of the Night" and Boston , Scotty and Ray went on a piano duel off which was very cool, Chris cracked me up singing "Toxic" by Brittney Spears, Mike was on fire Tuesday night - he was awesome!!!!!, Tommy was too funny when I shut off "American Pie" and Jason, you and Pete together are the reason why I keep coming to JR. Jason just rocks out with Black Crows.
I also got a JR shirt that everyone signed (except Ray, gotta get him to sign it next time)
Just got home to cold Cape Cod. I can't wait to get back to WDW.
Going to WDW and just relaxing is the way to go
This trip was so much better than I could have ever imagined
