Hello!

My husband, 4 year old, 2 year old and Aunt just got back from a 3 night stay at BLT. It was wonderful!

1/24
We had a 6am flight so it was a very early morning. We had a town car service pick us up and went straight to BLT. Checked in our luggage and headed to Disney Springs while we waited for our room.

The line at Gideons wasn't bad so we waited and got some cookies. I thought they were just ok but really loved the theming.

We had lunch at Homecomin where we met up with my SIL and MIL who live in Florida. After that we just walked around and shopped before heading to the hotel.

My 4 year old wanted to ride the monorail so we did that and while on it got our room ready text. We had a 2 bedroom villa and it was perfect. My aunt wanted her own room and we had the other room. My SIL came back with her kids and the cousins had a fun time running around before we called it a night at 7:30. My husband and I did get the chance to go to the Outer Rim for a drink and that was fun to have a little us time. We also got to see fireworks from the bridge at the hotel and that was just so cool. Love that they pipe in the music!

I had debated what day we should do Magic Kingdom since it was only open until 430 and a little wet but this day made the most sense for our schedule and it worked out perfectly. We were in Fantasyland by 830 and just had such a great day. The kids loved Barnstormer the best. My 4 year old rode it 4 times. BTM was a walk on so she rode that twice in a row. We did an ILL for Snow White. My first time riding and I actually think I like BTM more. Wouldn't pay extra in the future. My SIL has an AP so she met up with us and it was just such a wonderful and magical day. We got a little wet but the crowds were so minimal that by 3pm the kids were exhausted and we browsed a bit Main Street before walking back to hotel.

At dinner time we took the monorail over to Ohana. I was a little nervous because of the mixed reviews but we LOVED it. Maybe because we had no experience what it was like before but the service and food were both great. We looked around the Poly for a bit and then called it a night around 8.

We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's and that was a lot of fun. The girls were both pretty tired though. Even though they got a good night's sleep the day before was such a big day that they were definitely not as energetic as normal. After breakfast we took the monorail to Epcot. We had a good day but everybody was dragging a bit. We rode everything but Mission Space. My 4 year old loved Soarin. I felt queasy on Remi and probably won't don't that again. We left park around 430.

My husband took the girls back to the room and had leftovers from Ohana. My aunt and I had a nice dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I was hoping to go back out with my husband after the girls went to bed but we all just ended up falling asleep.

We took the monorail over to the poly so we could get some Tonga Toast. Definitely agree more bananas are needed but still sooooo good. We checked out of the room at 11 and waited around the Contemporary for our ride coming at 1. We did take out for lunch from Steakhouse 71 and it was delicious!!!!

Flight home was smooth and we were back to the snow and cold in no time.

Overall it was such an amazing trip. The weather wasn't great but ultimately we did everything we planned on. As much as I would have loved sunny and 80 we were very comfortable walking around the parks and never too warm or cold. It was tough with the kids and masks. They're pretty good wearing them but when they were getting tired and cranky it became quite a chore. I loved the mobile ordering for food. It had been 8 years since my husband and I were there and we just loved taking the girls. They might be a little young to remember but I will and we made some great memories. Thanks for reading!!!

Thank you for the great report!! We were there around the same time and might have crossed paths in Epcot on 1/26! The weather was much colder then we expected but when we go in September I will probably wish for the cold January :)

I finally reached my 10 post mark and can post some pictures! Already planning another trip for hopefully November. PXL_20220124_190155352.jpg
