Quick trip for F & W?

I've suddenly found I have the opportunity to go back to WDW at the end of September (after having spent 4th of July week there) - the first weekend of the Food and Wine Festival - I've never been but have thought about it - is the first weekend of the festival worth a quick trip?

I would go - Having been there 4th of July week I would make the assumption that it would definitely be less crowded!

Definitely worth it! We were there last year for the first weekend--it was hot, but the crowds, relative to later in the festival (we went again in late October) were low.

I was thinking of a quick trip just for the F &W festival - so yes it's worth it.

We've gone the last few years, with two DS's in tow. Since DS, 5.5, starts school this year, we decided to skip the Fall trip this year and do something in the Spring (don't want to start a precedent yet).

Anyway, we added on to DVC and found ourselves with a few extra points. Combine that with cheap airfare and hubby and I are off on our first adults only trip since '99, just three nights, but we can't wait. I'm sure you'll love it!

Ditto...........also the band scheduled is Kansas 9/30-10/2.....10/3-10/6 the Commondores........Enjoy it!
