Quick stay at POFQ

I went with my mom to a conference she had in Daytona last week (she didn't want to go alone and my Dad had a business trip he was on). I talked my mom into driving back to Orlando (we flew in and out there-cheaper) a night early and staying at POFQ then going to Epcot the next day. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this resort. I have only stayed at Deluxe, but this was really very nice. The weather had been cloudy and rainy our whole time in Florida. The rooms were nice and clean. Loved the decor! For just my mom and myself, the double beds were fine (and very comfortable) but if I had been there with my son and husband it would not have been good. The pool was very cute (too cold to swim though). The food court was pretty good. They had great live entertainment in the lounge area. Gardens were lovely. Only other downside was that it was fairly loud due to our window facing the courtyard-- we heard everyone talking as they walked by clear into the night. Other than that and the size of the beds, this is a resort I would highly recommend to others. Oh, the kids playground looked kind of neat too.

Thanks for posting! We are booked there for our trip this fall. It is nice to hear good things about it! It looks beautiful from the pictures I've seen!
